Caregivers For Independence is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help individuals with disabilities meet daily needs and pursue personal goals for independence. No experience is required, and paid training is provided.

You’ll join a family-run team that values compassion, reliability, and a supportive work environment. Responsibilities include direct care, personal hygiene assistance, light housekeeping, transportation, and activity support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Open availability including evenings, overnights, weekends.
• Able to pass BCII or FBI background checks.
• Able to pass abuser registry and nurse aide checks.
• Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Vehicle insurance and proof of coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and assistance with personal hygiene and daily living needs.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide light transportation to activities and appointments.
• Support leisure and recreational activities.
• Offer emotional and physical support and monitoring.
