Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

We offer full-time positions with various schedules, paid training provided, and opportunities to grow within a mission-driven organization dedicated to helping others live with dignity and independence.

Formación

• Must be at least 20 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CPR and First Aid certification required if not currently certified.
• Must pass state and federal criminal background checks, drug screening, and pre-employment physical and PPD.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene).
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Support daily living skills and independence.
• Arrange appointments, community outings, and recreational activities.
• Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
• Follow individualized support plans and goals.
• Promote dignity, respect, and person-centered care.
