Job summary

Oak Hill in Connecticut is hiring a Direct Support Professional for Rocky Hill, CT, 40-hour work week (Sun–Thu, 3 PM–11 PM). Compensation starts at $20.39 per hour base, with differential pay available for specific schedules.

This union, non-exempt position is overtime-eligible. You will support individuals with daily living activities, health monitoring, medication administration, transportation, meals, and community inclusion, while maintaining documentation in the EHR and following all health

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license to transport individuals in agency vehicles.
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks, fingerprinting, and pre-employment health screenings.
• Ability to complete required training programs and maintain necessary certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including grooming, hygiene, and mobility.
• Monitor health information and administer medications per directives.
• Transport individuals to appointments and community activities.
• Document health data and progress notes in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Follow health care plans and safety protocols.
