Job summary

InReach is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in the Charlotte, NC area to provide companionship, care, and support for a male with developmental disabilities. This Independent Contractor role offers 15 hours per week with day program and community activity transport.

Responsibilities include home living assistance, social role development, and community integration, along with medication dispensing and monitoring dosages as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• 1–2 years of experience with the I/DD population preferred.

We Hire:

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) willing to make a difference in someone's life by providing companionship, care, and support.

We Need:

InReach needs a DSP (Independent Contractor) for a male Individual with Developmental Disabilities in the Charlotte area, 28227. Staff will provide Community Living and Support and Respite Services for 15 hours a week.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday: 1p-4p

Pay Rate:

CLS: $20.35/hr.

Respite: $17/hr.

What You'll Do:

Instruction and assistance in home living environments.

Transport and accompany individual to and from day programs, work sites, and community activities.

All InReach applicants must have a high school diploma (or GED), a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check. One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred.

*** This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
