Job summary

InReach NC seeks Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Charlotte to help individuals with developmental disabilities lead fulfilling lives. This independent contractor position provides community living and support, working with clients for 15 hours a week.

The role involves assisting with daily living skills, facilitating community integration, and monitoring medication. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.

We Need

InReach needs a DSP (Independent Contractor) for a male Individual with Developmental Disabilities in the Charlotte area, 28215. Staff will provide Community Living and Support and Respite Services for 15 hours a week.

Schedule

M-F: 4p-7p

Pay Rate

CLS: $20.35/hr.

Respite: $17/hr.

What You'll Do

All InReach applicants must have a high school diploma (or GED), a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check. One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred.

• This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
