Job summary

InReach NC is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide companionship, care, and support for a male individual in the Charlotte area (28227). The role is 28 hours per week, with shifts Monday–Friday 4p–8p and Sunday 10a–6p; Saturday hours may be available.

As an Independent Contractor, you will receive a 1099 and work through a third-party vendor. A high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and successful drug test/background check are required; 1–2 years with I/DD

Qualifications

• Candidate should have a valid driver’s license.
• Pass drug screen and background check required.
• 1-2 years experience with I/DD population preferred.

We Need

InReach needs a DSP (Independent Contractor) for a male Individual with Developmental Disabilities in the Charlotte area, 28227. Staff will provide Respite and Community Living and Support Services for 28 hours a week.

Schedule

Monday-Friday: 4p-8p

Sunday: 10a-6p

Saturday hours available as well!

Pay Rate

CLS: $20.35/hr.

All InReach applicants must have a high school diploma (or GED), a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check. One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred.

• This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
