Job summary

The Bancroft Lakeside Campus in Pennsville, NJ is hiring a Direct Support Professional to support autistic and developmentally challenged individuals in a residential setting. You will implement behavioral plans, assist with daily living activities, and help residents achieve personal goals through structured supervision and care.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license in legal name and address; one year driving experience.
• Minimum six months related work experience or degree/current enrollment in relevant field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out behavioral treatment plans and collect direct observational data.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal prep, and housekeeping.
• Provide personal care and supervision, teaching daily living and functional skills.
• Accompany individuals to healthcare appointments and community outings; provide safe transportation.
• Resolve problem behaviors per Bancroft's safety standards and document regularly.
• Maintain communication with residents, parents/guardians, and family members.
