Job summary

Bancroft's Lakeside Campus in Carneys Point, NJ seeks a Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. The role is onsite, full-time, with a 2nd shift and weekend schedule.

You will support daily living, accompany to appointments, and document progress, contributing to a caring, growth-focused environment. Qualified candidates will be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License in the candidate's legal name with 1 year driving experience and license in good standing.
• Six months related work experience OR Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Carry out behavioral treatment plans and collect direct observational data.
• Assist with daily living activities including hygiene, meals, money management, and housekeeping.
• Provide personal care and supervision, teaching daily living and functional skills.
• Accompany individuals to healthcare appointments and community outings with safe transportation.
• Resolve problem behavior situations and apply crisis techniques per safety standards.
• Complete paperwork and maintain regular communication with residents and families.
