Job summary

Bancroft is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for the Lakeside Program in Mullica Hill, NJ. This onsite role covers a 2nd shift (Sun 11a-11p, Mon-Tue 2p-11p) totaling about 30 hours per week as a full-time position.

You will support autistic and developmentally challenged individuals, implement behavioral plans, assist with daily living activities, and accompany residents to appointments and community activities while maintaining safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license in your name with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in Psychology/Social Work or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out behavioral treatment plans and collect direct observational data.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal prep and housekeeping.
• Provide personal care and supervision, teaching daily living and functional skills.
• Accompany individuals to healthcare appointments and community outings, provide safe transportation.
• Resolve problem behaviors using approved crisis techniques and maintain documentation.
