Job summary

Bancroft’s Lakeside Campus in Glassboro, NJ seeks a Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. This onsite role requires full-time hours in the 2nd shift, including Sunday 11am–11pm and Mon–Wed 2pm–11pm, totaling 40 hours.

The DSP provides daily living support, implements behavioral plans, and helps residents reach personal goals while promoting safety and well-being. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License and at least 1 year of driving experience; license in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out behavioral treatment plans and collect direct observational data.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal prep, finances and housekeeping.
• Provide personal care and supervision, teaching daily living and functional skills.
• Accompany individuals to healthcare appointments and community outings; provide safe transportation.
• Complete paperwork and maintain regular documentation; communicate with residents, guardians and family.
