Job summary

Bancroft is hiring a Direct Support Professional for the Lakeside Program in Upper Pittsgrove, NJ. This onsite role supports autistic and developmentally disabled individuals, carries out behavioral plans, and provides daily living assistance in a supportive residential setting.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and 6 months relevant experience or a related degree. The shift is 2nd with Thursday/Friday and weekend hours. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid Driver’s License in the candidate's name and current address; one year driving experience preferred
• Six months related work experience or Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in Psychology/Social Work or related field

Responsibilities

• Carry out behavioral treatment plans and collect direct observational data
• Assist with daily living activities (hygiene, meals, money management, housekeeping)
• Provide personal care and supervision, teaching daily living and functional skills
• Accompany individuals to healthcare appointments and community outings
• Ensure safety using approved crisis techniques and document regularly
