Bancroft in Oakland, NJ is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team. The role focuses on empowering individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, delivering person-centered care and supporting daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: 18+; HS diploma or GED; valid driver’s license with at least 1 year driving experience.
• Six months of related work experience OR Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Empower residents to develop skills for daily living.
• Encourage independence through personalized care plans.
• Plan events and outings to build Bancroft community.
• Be part of a supportive team that holds each other accountable.
