Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide daily living skills support in residential programs for individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities. You will assist with activities of daily living, document progress, and help maintain safety and quality of care.

This part-time role requires weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday 5:00pm-11:00pm) with 12 hours per week and offers training, growth opportunities, and a supportive team in the communities

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy to include Microsoft products and agency web apps.
• Ability to drive a large vehicle and hold a valid US driver’s license with at least 1 year of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with skills training in daily living.
• Create opportunities to develop independence and decision-making.
• Follow regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.
• Administer medications and assist with medical/financial needs as required.
• Maintain shift notes, checklists, and program documentation.
• Transport and accompany people to activities as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
• Other duties as assigned.
