Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in care or related setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Attends regular shifts (evenings noted) and may include overtime.
• Implements habilitation and rehabilitation programs.
• Teaches life skills such as feeding, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Participates in development of the individual’s treatment plan.
• Observes signs of illness or adverse reactions and documents observations.
• Provides assistance in transporting individuals and in emergency situations.
• Administers first aid and CPR during emergencies.
• Evacuates individuals during drills or emergencies.
• Supports training/mentorship for new staff or volunteers.
