Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Direct Support Professional II to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at the Timber Hill Residential Care facilities. The role includes routine care, training, and reporting on individuals’ conditions in a team setting.

Shifts include morning, evening, and night, with potential additional pay for evenings, nights, weekends, and special locations. A state vehicle may be required for this position.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent, or prior employment.
• 6 months of work experience (preferred).
• Experience in writing reports.
• Experience in behavior programs for persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Fingerprint background check, pre-employment drug screen, and registry checks may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with daily living activities and health monitoring.
• Follow treatment plans and behavior programs.
• Observe and report changes in individuals’ condition.
• Transport individuals for activities and emergencies as needed.
• Provide CPR/First Aid and safety interventions.
