Zusammenfassung

Help at Home is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will help clients build daily living skills, participate in community activities, and pursue personal goals, with a focus on safety, dignity, and independence.

The role offers training, flexible scheduling, a $1,000 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires, mileage reimbursement, health benefits, PTO, and career

Qualifikationen

Must have at least 18 years old
Background checks and in-service training required
Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance

Aufgaben

Read and follow each Individual Support Plan
Report updates and concerns to the IDD Program Specialist
Assist with daily living activities (cooking, cleaning, grooming, hygiene, transportation)
Encourage participation in shopping, events, appointments, and community activities
Support individuals toward personal goals and greater independence
Promote personal choice, dignity, and respect
Document services and progress accurately
Communicate with team for consistent, high-quality support
