Help at Home is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. The DSP will help residents live safely, independently, and with dignity, delivering daily living assistance and community participation support.

The role offers competitive hourly pay of $18–$20, a $1,000 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires, flexible scheduling, paid training, and opportunities for career

Qualificações

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a state-approved training program is required.
• Demonstrated competency and a passing score on the required written competency test.

Responsabilidades

• Read, understand, and follow each individual’s Individual Support Plan.
• Report updates, progress, and concerns to the IDD Program Specialist.
• Assist with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, grooming, hygiene, and transportation.
• Encourage participation in shopping, social events, appointments, and community activities.
• Support individuals toward personal goals and independence.
• Promote personal choice, self-advocacy, dignity, and respect.
• Document services, activities, and progress accurately.
• Communicate with team members to ensure high-quality support.
