Clear Destination Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist adults with disabilities in a day center in El Cajon, CA. The role focuses on building independence, meaningful activities, and essential life skills in a supportive environment.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 3:00pm, with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour. The ideal candidate is compassionate, a strong communicator, organized, and reliable, with problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in learning life, social, and personal care skills.
• Assist with daily needs, including feeding, toileting, and mobility.
• Lead engaging group and individual activities.
• Document progress and maintain accurate case records.

About the Role:

We are hiring a Direct Support Professionals to support adults with disabilities in a day center setting. In this role, you’ll help clients build independence, engage in meaningful activities, and develop essential life skills in a supportive environment.

Location: El Cajon

Schedule: Mon-Fri 830a-3p

Pay: The pay for this position is $20.00 to $20.00

A typical day will include:

• Supporting clients in learning life, social, and personal care skills


• Assisting with daily needs, including feeding, toileting, and mobility


• Leading engaging group and individual activities


• Documenting progress and ensuring accurate case records

What you’ll need to be successful:

• High school diploma or GED


• Six (6) months of experience working with individuals with disabilities


• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.

We’d love it if you:

• Have experience with case management systems (Therap preferred)


• Are bilingual in English and Spanish


• Have previous experience in a caregiving or teaching role
