The Arc of San Diego is hiring Direct Support Professionals to support adults with disabilities in a day center setting. In this role you’ll help clients build independence, engage in meaningful activities, and develop essential life skills in a supportive environment.

Hours and schedule vary. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $20.65 per hour. We value compassionate individuals, strong teamwork, and a commitment to person-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Six months of experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Supporting clients in learning life, social, and personal care skills.
• Assisting with daily needs, including feeding, toileting, and mobility.
• Leading engaging group and individual activities.
• Documenting progress and ensuring accurate case records.

We are hiring a Direct Support Professionals to support adults with disabilities in a day center setting. In this role, you’ll help clients build independence, engage in meaningful activities, and develop essential life skills in a supportive environment.

In this role you will fill in for scheduled staff when they are unavailable. Example: someone is out sick or someone is on vacation.

Hours and Schedule: Vary

Pay: The pay for this position is $20.00 to $20.65
