Job summary

The Arc of San Diego is hiring Direct Support Professionals in San Marcos to help adults with disabilities build independence and participate in meaningful activities in a day-center setting.

You will assist with daily living tasks, document progress, and work Mon–Fri 8:30a–3p. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $20.65 per hour, with opportunities for growth and professional development. This role emphasizes person-centered care in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills required.
• Valid California driver’s license, current auto insurance and clean driving record.

• Assist with daily needs, including feeding, toileting, and mobility.

About the Role:

We are hiring a Direct Support Professionals to support adults with disabilities in a day center setting. In this role, you’ll help clients build independence, engage in meaningful activities, and develop essential life skills in a supportive environment.

Location: San Marcos

Pay: The pay for this position is $20.00 to $20.65

Schedule: Mon- Fri 8:30a-3p

• Are bilingual in English and Spanish
• Have previous experience in a caregiving or teaching role
