The Arc of San Diego is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Aide to provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities in day programs and residential settings. You will assist with personal care, daily living activities, and community engagement to help clients gain independence.

The role emphasizes teamwork, compassionate communication, and person-centered care. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus; experience with Therap case management is a benefit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six (6) months experience preferred.
• Ability to provide person-centered support in a respectful and inclusive way.

Responsibilities

• Assisting individuals with personal care, meals, and mobility support.
• Encouraging participation in daily activities and community outings.
• Helping individuals build relationships and develop independence.

About the Role:

Are you passionate about making a positive impact? As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Aide, you'll provide hands‑on support to individuals with developmental disabilities in both day programs and residential settings. Working closely with a team, you will assist with personal care, daily living activities, and community engagement to help individuals achieve their goals and enhance their independence.

Location: El Cajon

Schedule: Mon- Fri 8:30a-3p

Pay: The pay for this position is $18.00 to $18.65
