Job summary

The Arc of San Diego in Chula Vista is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist adults with disabilities in a day center setting. You’ll help clients build independence, engage in meaningful activities, and develop life skills in a supportive environment.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30a-3p. Pay: $20.00–$20.65 hourly. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 6 months of relevant experience, and a valid CA driver’s license. Benefits are available and training is provided.

• Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and clean driving record.

About the Role:

Location: Chula Vista

Schedule: Mon- Fri 8:30a-3p

Pay: The pay for this position is $20.00 to $20.65.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• High school diploma or GED
• Six (6) months of experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.

We’d love it if you:

• Have experience with case management systems (Therap preferred)
• Are bilingual in English and Spanish
• Have previous experience in a caregiving or teaching role
