The Arc of San Diego in San Marcos is hiring Direct Support Professionals to help adults with disabilities build independence through daily living activities in a day center setting.

You will support clients with life skills, engage in group and individual activities, document progress, and collaborate with a caring team. The role offers daytime hours, a starting pay of $20.00–$20.65 per hour, and a supportive work environment that values person-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months of experience with individuals with disabilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

About the Role:

We are hiring a Direct Support Professionals to support adults with disabilities in a day center setting. In this role, you'll help clients build independence, engage in meaningful activities, and develop essential life skills in a supportive environment.

Location: San Marcos

Pay: The pay for this position is $20.00 to $20.65

Schedule: Mon- Fri 8:30a-3p

• Supporting clients in learning life, social, and personal care skills

What you'll need to be successful:

• High school diploma or GED
• Six (6) months of experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Valid California Driver's License, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.

We'd love it if you:

• Have experience with case management systems (Therap preferred)
• Are bilingual in English and Spanish
• Have previous experience in a caregiving or teaching role
