Job summary

Venture Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower adults with disabilities through daily living support and community participation. This part-time role offers paid training and opportunities to grow within a compassionate team.

Paid orientation, CPR/First Aid training, and MAP are provided. The position emphasizes safety, independence, and inclusion, with a sign-on bonus for eligible employees.

• Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer or school history).
• Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of the team.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be active in their lives, including daily living activities and community participation.
• Assist with medical appointments, banking, outings, and follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans.
• Follow medical guidelines and ensure safety; participate in trainings (MAP, CPR/First Aid) and maintain certifications.
