Job summary

Venture Community Services seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Southbridge, MA to support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. The role involves assisting with daily living tasks, medication support, and community engagement.

The position offers paid New Employee Orientation, CPR/First Aid, Safety Care, Defensive Driving, and MAP training, with a sign-on bonus for full- and part-time staff. Weekend and evening hours are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities with household tasks and daily living activities (meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, teeth brushing).
• Support attendance at medical appointments, banking, and community activities; accompany to outings as needed.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and medical guidelines; administer medications per program requirements.
