Job summary

Venture Community Services seeks a Direct Support Professional to advocate for adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping with daily tasks, appointments, and community involvement. The DSP will promote independence and well‑being in a compassionate team environment.

The role is full time with paid training, a $1,000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff, and a pay rate of $17.50–$19.00 per hour. Benefits include health coverage and PTO.

Qualifications

• Commitment to assisting people with disabilities to participate fully in their community.
• Ability to work as a creative, engaged member of the team.
• Must be 21+ with reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Fluent English in speaking, reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with household tasks, meals, shopping, mobility and personal care.
• Support attendance at medical appointments, outings and community activities.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans.
