Responsibilities include ensuring client well-being, documenting progress, crisis prevention and promoting rights. Candidates should hold PA nursing or CNA credentials or a Home Health Aide certificate, plus current CPR and health screening.

Qualifikationen

• Must be able to read and write proficiently in English.
• Successful completion of the Direct Care Worker Competency evaluation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current Health Screening per state regulations.
• Provide proof of PA nursing license or PA CNA certification or Home Health Aide program certificate or equivalent competency.
• Training programs meeting state standards or provider registry requirements may qualify.

• Ensure client health, wellness and safety.
• Support independent living skills and daily living activities.
• Crisis prevention and intervention.
• Promote advocacy and individual rights.
• Maintain detailed, compliant documentation on client status and progress.
• Implement behavior support plans safely and effectively.
• Report suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation immediately.
• Utilize prompting, instruction, modeling and reinforcement for person-centered services.
• Promote independence in daily living, work, learning and leisure.
• Provide transportation as needed.
• Complete required annual trainings to maintain certifications.
