Responsibilities include promoting safety, independence, and personal rights, documenting client progress, and adhering to behavior support plans.

Qualifications

• Must read and write proficiently in English.
• Maintain CPACR/CPR current as required by state regulations.
• Provide proof of required Home Care qualifications per PA guidelines.
• Certification/licensure alternatives as specified by state Home Care Agency rules.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client’s Health, Wellness and Safety.
• Encourage independence in daily living and learning activities.
• Crisis prevention and intervention.
• Advocate for client rights and preferences.
• Maintain detailed, compliant documentation on client status and progress.
• Implement behavior support plans safely and effectively.
• Report suspected abuse, neglect, and exploitation immediately.
• Promote independence in daily living, work/volunteer, learning, and leisure.
• Provide transportation based on client needs.
• Complete required annual trainings to maintain certifications.
