Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Direct Support Mentor for a full-time, on-site role. You will mentor Direct Support Employees, help identify personal outcomes for people served, and ensure coverage across three shifts to support individuals with IDD and related needs.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, CPR/First Aid, and experience with the IDD population.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or GED.
• Prefer experience working with IDD individuals.
• At least one year of experience working with the population served.
• Must have a valid driver’s license including personal vehicle insurance coverage.
• Must maintain CPR and First Aid certification, Med Tech and NCI certifications and other core training as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist people supported to identify personal outcomes and preferences.
• Mentor, train, and coach Direct Support Employees.
• Ensure staff coverage across three shifts as scheduled.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness and vehicle/grounds upkeep.
• Support people served in daily living skills, personal care, and community integration.
