Job summary

00 RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Direct Support Mentor to lead and train Direct Support staff in residential and day settings, serving as a mentor, trainer, lead, and coach. You will support new staff and help coordinate shift coverage, with potential residence sleepovers when schedules require it.

The ideal candidate will have a High school diploma or GED, at least one year of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and CPR/First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain them.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prefer experience with IDD individuals.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with the population served.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• CPR and First Aid certifications or ability to obtain them.
• Supervision may come from a qualified professional as required by licensure.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, train, and coach Direct Support Employees.
• Ensure staff coverage across three shifts as scheduled.
• Assist individuals in identifying and pursuing personal goals.
• Support in implementing Person Centered Plans and services.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and vehicle/grounds upkeep as needed.
