Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Direct Support Professional/Mentor. This regular position supports individuals with IDD and behavioral health needs in residential and day settings, leading by example and providing mentorship to DS Employees.

You will help people identify personal goals, promote dignity and choice, and ensure safety and well-being. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and CPR/First Aid certification; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with personal vehicle insurance.
• CPR and First Aid certification, Med Tech, and NCI certificates or equivalents.
• Experience with IDD population preferred; minimum 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for people with disabilities in residential and day settings.
• Serve as mentor and trainer to Direct Support Employees.
• Assist with staff coverage across three shifts as scheduled by the Residential Team Leader.
• Promote dignity, autonomy, and quality of life for people supported.
• Document incidents of abuse, neglect, or exploitation immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of homes and vehicles.
