Job summary

ComServ Inc. in Morganton, NC is seeking Direct Support Professionals to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve personal goals in Day Activity Programs, Group Homes, or community settings.

You will provide daily living support, advocate for rights, document progress, and participate in required trainings. A High School Diploma or GED is required, you must be 18+, pass background checks, and be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Preferred to have NC driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals to participate in their community and daily activities.
• Develop knowledge of each individual’s PCP to meet goals.
• Provide adaptive skills training and daily living support.
• Offer meaningful activities aligned with personal goals and program objectives.
• Document and monitor progress; may assist with medications; participate in trainings and meetings.
• Advocate for and support rights of individuals in care.
• Follow regulatory standards and report concerns to supervisors.
