Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities in residential settings across the North Shore and surrounding areas in Massachusetts. You will provide daily living support, skills training, and community integration while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work varied shifts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, plus 5+ years in a similar role preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication is essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Offer skills training and foster independence.
• Adhere to regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.
• Document progress notes and required forms daily.
• Transport and accompany clients to activities as needed.
• Maintain safety and assist with medical and financial needs.
