Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of commercial kitchen/food service experience.
• Current ServSafe Certification required.
• State food service certification where applicable.
• ACF Certified Sous Chef preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, manages and coordinates dining services across locations.
• Maintains budget and controls costs within department.
• Plans menus and orders food to meet resident needs.
• Oversees food preparation to ensure procedures are followed.
• Inspects work areas for safety and sanitation compliance.
• Prepares schedules and inventory for dining services.
• Trains new staff and delegates duties to ensure smooth workflow.
• Manages department budget and cost control systems.
