Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a Dining Services Manager to plan and supervise dining operations across locations. You will oversee budgeting, menu planning, and food preparation while maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation.

The role requires ServSafe certification, strong leadership, and experience in a commercial kitchen setting. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for professional growth within Brookdale.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2-4 years in commercial kitchen or related training or equivalent.
• Current ServSafe Certification required; state certification where applicable; CSC preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Plans, manages, and coordinates activities of the dining services department at one or more locations.
• Develops standards for organization and supervision of dining services.
• Maintains budget and controls food costs; oversees food preparation to meet procedures.
• Trains staff and delegates duties to ensure efficient service.
• Ensures food safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures are followed.
• Maintains inventory and develops cost control systems.
