Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent; fine dining experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operating documents.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving in standardized situations.
• Energetic self-motivator with high standards.
• Experience with billing reconciliation and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, coach and schedule dining room staff.
• Schedule reservations and arrange parties.
• Greet guests, escort to tables, and present menus.
• Address and resolve all complaints to ensure great dining.
• Assign tasks and coordinate dining room activities for timely service.
• Inspect stations for cleanliness and manage table linens.
• Pursue continual improvement of the dining operation.
