Job summary

You will supervise dining room staff, manage reservations, greet guests, handle complaints, and maintain cleanliness and inventory. The role requires a two-year degree or equivalent and strong communication, leadership, and cash handling skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent; 1–3 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups.
• Ability to apply good judgment to instructions.
• Maintains a high energy level and high standards in work.
• Billing reconciliation and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Staffing: interviewing, hiring, training, coaching and scheduling.
• Schedule dining reservations and arrange parties or special services for diners.
• Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus.
• Handles and fixes all complaints to insure a great dining experience for residents and guests.
• Assigns work tasks and coordinates activities of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service.
• Inspects dining room serving stations for neatness and inventories table linens and other dining room supplies.
• Work toward continual improvement of the overall organization.
