Elegance Living is seeking a Dining Services Supervisor to lead the dining room team, train staff, and ensure high-quality resident meals and service. You will oversee menu presentation, safety, and cross-department collaboration to enhance resident engagement and satisfaction.

The role emphasizes maintaining cleanliness, managing labor costs, and upholding the company's service standards in a residential care setting.

• Develops a positive customer service culture in the dining room through team member training and evaluates service quality to maximize efficiency while keeping a pleasant dining experience.
• Ensures team members deliver service that maintains excellent resident experiences during mealtimes.
• Circulates in the dining room to learn resident preferences and satisfaction with meals and develops service systems that follow the basic steps of service for front of house dining.
• Ensures menu items are prepared and presented to the high standards set by the Culinary Director.
• Trains and coaches all team members in the Culinary Services Department per company protocol; conducts evaluations to ensure dietary department work is appropriate; escalates performance issues to the Director of Culinary Services, Culinary Manager, or Executive Director and takes action.
• Schedules team members to meet the labor budget and manages daily labor to control costs against the budget.
• Maintains a clean dining room, equipment, walls, tables, bases, chairs; ensures linens are changed and tabletop condiments are kept clean; reports maintenance issues to the Maintenance Director.
• Oversees tabletop setup and arrangement at the start and end of each meal period.
• Ensures personal conduct and that team members conduct themselves safely in line with Safety Committee Standards.
• Fosters teamwork, takes initiative to overcome obstacles, and positively impacts coworkers, residents, and visitors.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with other leaders to foster cross-department collaboration, especially for resident engagement activities with F&B crossover.
• Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
