Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Fine dining experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, coach and schedule dining room staff.
• Schedule dining reservations and arrange parties or special services for diners.
• Greet guests, escort to tables, and provide menus.
• Handle and resolve complaints to ensure a great dining experience.
• Assign tasks and coordinate activities of dining room staff for prompt and courteous service.
• Inspect dining room stations for neatness and cleanliness and manage supplies.
