Job summary

Trident Seafoods in Alaska is seeking a Dining Hall Foreperson I to oversee daily Food & Beverage operations at our processing facility. The role supports meal service, ensures high hygiene standards, and may supervise staff or assist the F&B Manager depending on location.

Requirements include a high school diploma, knowledge of food safety regulations, a current Certified Food Protection Manager card, and prior Lead III experience at a Trident location in the past year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Current Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) card.
• Lead III position experience at a Trident location within the past year.
• Strong English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proper food safety procedures (temperature checks, storage, safe handling) and trains staff.
• Leads the Food & Beverage staff; trains safety and cleanliness standards; trains staff in food preparation.
• Oversees meal preparation and portion control; assists in menu adherence.
• Places weekly food & supply orders; reconciles orders; liaises with supplier and QA for issues.
• Directs activities of staff who assist in preparing and serving meals; may supervise under F&B Manager.
• May perform routine and deep cleaning of the kitchen.
