Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Digital Services Business Development Manager for the Great Lakes Region. The role drives growth through expanding customer adoption of connected services, analytics, and building automation solutions across sales, service, and account teams.

You will build relationships with owners and operators, translate digital capabilities into measurable business value, and lead cross-functional strategies to increase market share and recurring revenue in a highly visible

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or sales leadership, preferably in digital services, connected solutions, building automation, HVAC, controls, or service.
• Strong understanding of customer value drivers related to connected buildings, building performance, service optimization, energy management, or operational outcomes.
• Experience collaborating across equipment, controls, service, and account management teams to develop integrated growth strategies.
• Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; practical experience and alignment with leadership principles are valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional business development efforts for Trane’s digital services and connected solutions portfolio in the Great Lakes Region.
• Identify, develop, and close opportunities related to connected services and recurring digital revenue streams.
• Partner with sales teams to expand customer adoption of digitally enabled solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with building owners, operators, contractors, and engineers.
• Communicate value of digital offerings to improve building performance and energy efficiency.
• Support cross-functional account strategies to increase market penetration and retention.
