Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States (Great Lakes Region) seeks a Digital Services Business Development Manager to accelerate growth of connected solutions and digital services. You will lead regional development, collaborate with sales and service teams, and expand customer adoption of analytics, monitoring, and outcome-based services.

The role focuses on strengthening relationships with building owners and contractors, driving cross-functional strategies, and delivering measurable business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, engineering technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or sales leadership, preferably in digital services, connected solutions, building automation, HVAC, controls, or service.
• Strong understanding of customer value drivers related to connected buildings, building performance, service optimization, energy management, or operational outcomes.
• Experience collaborating across equipment, controls, service, and account management teams to develop integrated growth strategies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate digital capabilities into customer-centered business value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategy for Trane’s digital services and connected solutions portfolio in the Great Lakes Region.
• Identify, develop, and close opportunities related to connected services, analytics, remote monitoring, and recurring digital revenue streams.
• Collaborate with sales, service, controls, and account teams to expand customer adoption of digitally enabled solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with building owners, operators, contractors, and engineers to drive growth.
• Translate technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes for customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain opportunity pipelines, support forecasts, and promote use of CRM tools and sales processes.
