Trane Technologies in the United States (Great Lakes Region) seeks a Digital Services Business Development Manager to accelerate growth in connected solutions and digital services. You will lead regional business development, aligning solutions with customer needs and building strong relationships with owners, operators, consultants, and engineers.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or sales leadership.
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of customer value drivers for connected buildings.
Experience collaborating across equipment, controls, service, and account teams.
Strong communication skills and ability to translate digital capabilities into value.
Candidates with no 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; practical experience valued.
Valid driver's license with clean record for at least 12 months.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute business development strategy for digital services and connected solutions in the Great Lakes Region.
Identify, develop, and close opportunities related to connected services, analytics, and recurring digital revenue.
Collaborate with sales teams to expand customer adoption of digitally enabled solutions.
Build relationships with building owners, operators, contractors, and engineers.
Position digital value propositions to support decarbonization and efficiency goals.
Coordinate across functions to increase market penetration and share of wallet.
Maintain opportunity pipeline discipline and CRM usage.
Translate technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes.
Participate in regional sales activities and strategy sessions.
