Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Digital Services Business Development Manager for the Great Lakes Region. You will drive growth by expanding adoption of connected services, building analytics, and remote monitoring within our HVAC and building automation portfolio.

You will collaborate with sales, service, and account teams to identify opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and position Trane as a trusted partner delivering measurable building performance and energy efficiency

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development, sales, or sales leadership.
• Strong understanding of customer value drivers for connected buildings and service optimization.
• Experience collaborating across equipment, controls, service, and account teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate digital capabilities into business value.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record over past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategy for digital services and connected solutions in the Great Lakes Region.
• Identify, develop, and close opportunities in connected services, analytics, remote monitoring, and recurring digital revenue.
• Partner with sales teams to expand adoption of digitally enabled buildings solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, operators, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Promote the value of digital offerings to improve energy efficiency and building performance.
• Contribute to account strategies to increase market penetration and share of wallet for digital offerings.
• Support forecast accuracy and CRM discipline across regional sales activities.
• Translate technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes for customers.
