Job summary

Leica Biosystems is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Digital Pathology equipment across the Northeast region from the New York area, with remote work and regional travel. You will resolve escalations quickly, both remotely and on-site, to minimize downtime and drive service revenue opportunities.

The role requires an Associate degree with 3+ years diagnosing and repairing electro‑mechanical equipment; IT networking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree plus 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical/electromechanical equipment or instruments.
• Bachelor’s degree and IT networking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced remote and on-site escalation support of Digital Pathology Equipment with the North American Selling Unit.
• Disseminate technical memos and conduct Service Excellence calls to share trends and best practices.
• Collaborate with product management and other units to review instrument quality reporting and identify trends.
