Job summary

Shyft Global Services, a TD SYNNEX Company, seeks a Digital Pathology Field Service Engineer to service digital pathology systems in clinical environments. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot instruments, coordinate with LIS, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Candidates must be located in the New York, NY; Memphis, TN; Jacksonville, FL; Washington, D.C. area with frequent travel to surrounding regions. Strong customer service and communication skills required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, biomedical technology, or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of field service or technical support experience in medical devices and laboratory automation.
• Proficiency with PC hardware, Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN).

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventive & Corrective Maintenance on digital scanners and related hardware; document PMs and FCOs per SOPs.
• Lead site installations: unpack, assemble, calibrate, and configure networking; integrate with LIS.
• Respond to on-site service calls; troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain service reports, work orders, and calibration records in CRM/tracking systems; manage tools and inventory.
