Amazon in Chicago is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager for Digital Innovation to lead enterprise engagements, shape innovation programs, and drive cloud-based prototypes end-to-end. • 6+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
• 6+ years of professional or military experience
• 5+ years with Core Cloud Technology Services (Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, Networking)
• 5+ years with Business Application Technologies (EUC, Supply Chain, CCaaS, Data Apps)
• 5+ years solving problems with technology in Healthcare/Life Sciences
• 5+ years solving problems with technology in Media & Entertainment
• 5+ years solving problems with technology in Global Financial Services
• 5+ years solving problems with technology in Telecom
• 5+ years solving problems with technology in Automotive & Manufacturing
• 5+ years solving problems with technology in Energy & Utilities
• 5+ years Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting
• 5+ years with Advanced Compute technologies (HPC, IoT, etc.)
• 5+ years with Enterprise App Modernization and Migration
• 5+ years with Data & AI technologies

Responsibilities

• Develop C-suite and line-of-business relationships with leading innovators
• Identify and qualify customers for the Digital Innovation program
• Facilitate workshops with executive groups
• Own a vertical within the AWSI Portfolio; manage project documentation
• Lead translation of solutions into cloud prototypes with engineering teams
• Build value propositions and business cases
• Train local sales teams to qualify customers
• Lead end-to-end digital engagements and secure sponsorship
• Track engagement value and major wins
• Help improve the engagement model based on experience
• Coordinate with Partners to accelerate digital innovation
• Engage with Marketing and Product teams to share Learnings
• Present at events to extend thought leadership
• Execute strategic business development with internal stakeholders
• Handle high volume, fast-paced cloud market engagements
