Job summary

CGS is seeking a Digital Forensic Analyst focused on preserving and collecting mobile device and cloud data. Travel for on-site collections is expected, with an in-office presence at the main CGS facility housing the forensics lab and data center.

The role requires fluency with a broad range of forensic tools and the ability to drive projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. CGS promotes professional growth and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an undergraduate degree in Digital Forensic Science or CS/Engineering.
• 1+ years of relevant experience with forensic lifecycle, acquisitions, and intermediate analysis.
• Experience using industry-standard forensic tools listed above.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical clients.
• Must be willing to travel regularly with a valid passport.

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic data collection and basic analysis on-site and remotely.
• Coordinate with legal teams and client IT to define project scope.
• Maintain and update forensic tools and workflows.
• Collaborate with project management to complete complex, deadline-driven projects.
• Document workflows and ensure chain-of-custody best practices.
