Job summary

Capital One in Santa Monica is hiring a Cafe Ambassador to be the face of the brand in a community-focused café. You’ll guide guests through digital banking, advocate for the products, and operate with a service-first mindset rather than sales quotas.

This role moves you around the cafe, supports events, and requires flexibility with schedule including nights and weekends. It offers a strong benefits package and pathways for growth within Capital One.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification.
• At least 1 year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience.
• Banking experience (2+ years) preferred.
• Proficient in G‑Suite.

Responsibilities

• Be a Natural Connector: Proactively engage with guests in a high‑energy environment that serves as both a community space and a local coffee shop.
• Serve as a Brand Advocate: Share the value of Capital One’s products and services through genuine conversation, not transactions.
• Simplify the Complex: Guide customers through our digital ecosystem, mastering mobile tools and troubleshooting tech challenges.
• Facilitate Purposeful Impact: Host and support local events promoting financial health within Capital One’s programs.
• Advocate & Problem‑Solve: Uphold customer advocacy, resolve issues, and de‑escalate in line with compliance requirements.
• Act as a Culture Carrier: Create an inclusive environment and stay adaptable to change.
• Stay Agile & Engaged: Move throughout the Café to connect with the community.
