Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Café Ambassador in Walnut Creek to engage guests in a vibrant community space, acting as a banking guide rather than a teller. You’ll promote Capital One’s products through conversations, help guests navigate digital tools, and host community events that promote financial health.

You will be on the move in a high-energy environment, delivering excellent guest experiences, supporting changes in scheduling, and upholding compliance while building a welcoming culture.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience.
• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification.

Responsibilities

• Be a Natural Connector: engage guests in a high-energy community space; you are a banking guide, not a barista.
• Serve as a Brand Advocate: share Capital One's products and services through conversation, not quota-driven sales.
• Simplify the Complex: guide customers through our digital ecosystem and mobile tools.
• Facilitate Purposeful Impact: host local events promoting financial health and partnerships.
• Advocate & Problem-Solve: support customers, resolve issues, de-escalate when needed within compliance.
• Act as a Culture Carrier: foster an inclusive, detail-oriented, change-ready environment.
• Move throughout the Café to connect with the community and support the guest flow.
